Information collected and shared
HIQ Commander app uses the following data:
Precise location is used to calculate sunrise and sunset time, needed for the automatic lights. The location is not stored on our server.
Access for photos is used for custom icons. No photo is ever transmitted off the user device.
Randomized phone id is used to match the mobile phone with the home automation controller. It is stored on our server and can be deleted at any time.
Please note that the app is fully functional within the local network, without ever contacting our server or sharing any data. Logging in to the server is required only when application is expected to work over the Internet. To do this, sign up at http://my.hiq-home.com to create the account. The account can be deleted at any time, including all data provided.
The app does not share user data with other companies or organizations.
